Are you and your dog more like social butterflies instead of lone wolves? We have exciting obedience classes for you! Our group lessons are perfect for previous or current clients who are seeking a communal classroom setting, and maybe something extra.
We offer group classes periodically throughout the year for any current or previous clients. Each group class is centered around specific goals that were created for that class. These options include courses centered around basic obedience, puppy training, off-leash training, reactive/aggressive dog guidance, and much more.
Our group classes act as refreshers covering things that were taught in the private sessions, or during your board and train program. These classes are a fantastic way for pawrents and handlers to continue to refine their handling skills. These courses generally do not cover new materials but instead help reinforce what was already taught and learned.
These classes are currently only available to clients that have completed at least one private session or one board and train program with us. We do this to ensure that our classes are successful and safe for all involved.
New clients and dogs need extra care and work to ensure their success and safety. It would be irresponsible and careless to begin dog training in a group setting. We take pride in our individualized approach, which also helps our courses remain so successful. Because of our approach, it’s currently not possible for us to offer group classes to new dogs/clients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Are you a returning or current client? We hope to see you at a future group class! These classes are great for those seeking a refresher course, or even something new. Our group dog training classes are safe, fun, and provide extra guidance for you and your furry friend. Our group dog behavior courses are a great way to learn something new in a safe community setting.

Puppy Foundations
We offer a 4 week private session package for puppies (dogs under 6 months old). During this time we focus on basic obedience such as sit, down and place. We work on basic house manners, leash manners and crate/potty training.

Next-Step K9 is an at home dog training business with the goal in mind of giving you and your dog the best life possible. Dogs should add so much joy, love and meaning to our lives but I’ve found due to lack of obedience, leadership and communication so many people are living with their furry friends as a burden rather than a positive impact.
